Common questions

Ideally 6–8 weeks before travel, which allows time for multi-dose vaccines like rabies (needs 2–3 doses over 21–28 days) and Japanese Encephalitis (2 doses, 28 days apart). But if you’re leaving sooner, we can absolutely still help – many vaccines work after a single dose, and it always worth starting your course as immunity will develop while you're on your trip, and some antimalarials can be started the day before travel. This is all clearly outlined in response to your questionnaire
