Elinzanetant (brand Lynkuet) is a newer non-hormonal medicine that blocks two of the brain receptors involved in hot flushes. Because of its dual action it reduces flushes and also improves the sleep disturbance and quality of life that often come with the menopause. It is a private prescription and, like any new medicine, is prescribed and reviewed by a doctor.
