Our Prescribers

LoveMyLife Pharmacy dispenses private prescriptions issued by our own prescribers and by external registered prescribers. Our in-house prescriber is:

Dr Seth Rankin | Doctor | General Medical Council (GMC) | Registration No: 4467397 | Restrictions: None

We also accept valid private prescriptions from any UK-registered prescriber. For prescription-only medicines, the original hard-copy prescription must be submitted to the pharmacy before dispensing.

Prescribing service address: Unit 2023, Westfield London, Ariel Way, London W12 7GF. All our in-house prescribers are registered in the United Kingdom and work within UK clinical guidelines.

How Our Service Works

LoveMyLife operates as an integrated private GP clinic with a registered pharmacy at Westfield London. We offer three ways to access prescription medication, depending on your needs.

1

In-clinic consultation & same-day dispensing

Book a face-to-face, video, or telephone consultation with a LoveMyLife doctor. Your doctor conducts a clinical assessment through real-time, two-way communication, prescribes where appropriate, and your medication is dispensed directly from the clinic. Our Superintendent Pharmacist provides ongoing clinical governance oversight, including regular audits of all prescribing and dispensing activity.

2

Online consultation for routine medications

For eligible, non-complex medications you can complete a clinical questionnaire online. A LoveMyLife doctor reviews your questionnaire and medical history, and approves or declines the prescription based on clinical appropriateness. Once approved, your medication is dispensed and delivered to your door. A pharmacist or doctor checks each order before dispatch. This pathway is not available for controlled drugs, high-risk medicines, or medicines requiring physical examination.

3

Bring your own prescription

If you have a valid private prescription from another UK-registered doctor, you can submit it to LoveMyLife Pharmacy for dispensing. The original hard-copy prescription must be received by the pharmacy. Your prescription is reviewed for validity and clinical appropriateness before your medication is dispensed and delivered.

Prescription Requirements

Important: All prescription-only medicines require a valid prescription from a registered prescriber. For in-clinic and online consultations, this follows a clinical assessment. For external prescriptions, the original hard-copy prescription must be submitted. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any medication if we believe it is not in the patient's best interest.

Clinical governance: Our Superintendent Pharmacist maintains oversight of all pharmacy operations through regular clinical audits, prescription reviews, and governance reporting. This includes retrospective review of prescribing patterns, dispensing accuracy, and patient safety incidents.

Identity Verification

To protect your safety and prevent fraud, we verify the identity of patients ordering medicines. The level of verification is proportionate to the risk of the medicine.

Standard verification (all patients): Name, date of birth, and address confirmation; payment card verification.

Enhanced verification (controlled drugs, cannabis-based products, high-risk medicines): Photo ID (valid driving licence or passport); biometric video match where required; address verification.

Fraud prevention: We operate automated systems to detect multiple orders to the same address from different accounts, multiple accounts using the same payment details, inappropriate medicine combinations, duplicate prescriptions, and orders that exceed expected frequency or quantity.

Weight-Loss Medications: Additional Safeguards

GPhC Requirement: We independently verify your weight, height, and Body Mass Index (BMI) during your consultation. We do not rely on self-reported measurements, photographs, or pre-recorded video for this verification. A real-time clinical assessment with two-way communication is required before any weight-loss medication can be prescribed or supplied.

For all weight-loss medicines (including semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide, and orlistat), your prescriber will: independently verify your weight, height, and BMI; review your full medical history and current medications; access your medical records or contact your GP (with your consent); conduct regular follow-up appointments to monitor your progress; only prescribe where clinically appropriate and in line with NICE guidance.

Controlled Drugs

Some medicines we dispense are classified as controlled drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. These are subject to additional legal requirements. The table below lists the controlled drugs we stock, their schedule, and the maximum supply we can dispense per prescription.

Key rules: All controlled drug prescriptions are valid for 28 days from the date signed. The maximum supply per prescription is 30 days. Enhanced identity verification (photo ID) is required for Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 controlled drugs. A signature is required on delivery. All supply is recorded in our Controlled Drugs Register.
