At your consultation, a registered GP works through the assessment with you:

• Pattern and history review: Most pattern hair loss is straightforward to identify, but some patterns mimic pattern loss and need a different approach.

• Reversible causes screen: Thyroid, iron, vitamin D, and other reversible factors, checked with a blood test where indicated.

However you start, the medication costs the same. The clinical review is included, so you only pay for your treatment.

• Online, no appointment. Start with a short form. A doctor reviews it, and if treatment is right for you we dispense and deliver it. The review is free; you pay only for the medication, on repeat for as long as you want it.

• See a doctor. Prefer to talk it through? Book a consultation in person, by video or by phone for £120. Have your assessment, get your prescription, and come back whenever you want.

• Stay with us. Your repeats keep coming with a free quarterly review to check progress and adjust if needed. There is no separate membership fee; you pay for the medication and the care comes with it. Pause or cancel any time. No lock-in.

If you are on this medication from another clinic, an NHS service, or an online provider, and you want to move your care to us, you are very welcome. Just tell us what you are taking and we will take it from there. No obligation to switch onto a subscription.

Finasteride and dutasteride can harm a developing baby. Women who are pregnant, who may become pregnant, or who are breastfeeding must not take them.

The tablets are coated and safe to handle when whole. Women who are or may become pregnant must not handle tablets that are crushed or broken. We do not prescribe finasteride or dutasteride to women who are or may become pregnant.

Hair loss is usually straightforward to diagnose at the consultation, so bloods are not always needed. Where a reversible cause might be contributing, we can check thyroid, ferritin, vitamin D and others as indicated.

You choose how: a finger-prick kit at home, a phlebotomy appointment near you or a home visit, or here at our Westfield clinic.

Blood tests are priced separately, the same as the medication. If you have recent results from your NHS GP or another provider, we can use those.

• Start online, no appointment: the doctor review is free. You pay only for your medication.

• See a doctor (15 min, in person, video, or phone): £120. Covers the consultation and a prescription if treatment is right for you. A prescription is the doctor's go-ahead for treatment, not the medicine itself.

• The medicine, charged separately, dispensed and delivered by us with repeats when you need them: finasteride from £15.99, dutasteride from £24.99, topical minoxidil from £24.99 a month, the Complete Hair Kit (finasteride plus minoxidil) £39.99 a month.

• Bloods to screen reversible causes (thyroid, ferritin, vitamin D, others as indicated): charged separately, price confirmed at your consultation.

• Staying with us: repeats plus a free quarterly review, with no separate membership fee. Pause or cancel any time.
