Blood tests.

At your appointment a doctor works through the following, and you leave with what it produces:

• Sample collection: Phlebotomy at Westfield, or a sample-collection kit (finger-prick blood, urine, swab) sent to your home.

• Lab processing: Through our partner laboratories. Most results next day; some the same day on request.

• Doctor interpretation: A registered GP reviews every result and explains what it means for you.

• Written summary: Sent by secure email. Plus the underlying lab report. Print or share as you choose.

You can test in clinic or at home, depending on what suits.

At Westfield. Book a consultation. The doctor takes the venous blood sample during the consultation and the lab results come back to you. You receive the doctor's written interpretation once everything is back. Most patients pick this when they want a same-visit experience.

At home. Order a sample-collection kit (finger-prick blood, urine, or swab where applicable) without a prior consultation. Take the sample, post it to our partner lab, and book a video or phone consultation once results are in so the doctor can interpret them with you.

We're also happy to review results from any reputable laboratory you've used elsewhere. Bring or send them to us before your consultation.

Specialist and request-by-name

If you've seen a test name elsewhere, ask. Most of what our partner labs offer is available on request, and the doctor will tell you whether the test is clinically useful before any lab fee is incurred.
