What's involved
The doctor screens your heart and circulation, checks for any history of concussion or head injury, reviews your eyes and any history of retinal problems, and confirms you are not on medication that would rule out combat sport. The assessment follows the requirements of the relevant governing body.
Good to know
Governing bodies set the exact standards and stand-down periods, and typically require no recent concussion, no detached retina, no uncontrolled epilepsy, no anticoagulant medicines and no pregnancy. Bring your governing body's form.

Pricing
£120 for a 15-minute consultation and certificate. Any tests or drug screening are an additional charge, confirmed with you at the consultation before anything is sent. You pay after your consultation in person; video and phone consultations are paid at booking.
