What's involved
The doctor examines you, takes your account of the accident, records your injuries, treatment and current symptoms, and gives an opinion on your prognosis and whether the injuries fit the accident described. The report is prepared to the Civil Procedure Rules Part 35 standard, with the required statement of truth.
Good to know
The doctor's duty in a personal injury report is to the court, so the report is objective and balanced whoever instructs it. It is a longer appointment and a written report delivered afterwards.
