A doctor-issued medical report for your Bahamas visa, completed by a registered GP. It is a 15-minute appointment at £120. Any tests your destination requires are arranged at your consultation.
Caribbean & Oceania
A Bahamas visa medical generally involves the following, based on Bahamas's current requirements as we understand them today.
Examination: Original medical certificate dated no earlier than 30 days before submission; the application also asks the applicant directly about good health, serious illness and vaccination history
Vaccinations: Conditional (form asks about smallpox/polio history; no mandatory vaccine list confirmed)
The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.
Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Bahamas embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Bahamas requires is yours to do.
Part of this process may need to be completed in the destination country; we complete the UK part.
No separate structured medical form in the official set, only a certificate requirement plus self-declared health questions. UK-completion supported by third-party clinics, not an official page.
| When it's needed | Annual (long-term) work permit; required for every applicant |
| Examination | Original medical certificate dated no earlier than 30 days before submission; the application also asks the applicant directly about good health, serious illness and vaccination history |
| Vaccinations | Conditional (form asks about smallpox/polio history; no mandatory vaccine list confirmed) |
| How long it's valid | 30 days from date of certificate to submission |
| Official form | No distinct numbered medical form; requirement sits inside the general Work Permit application set |
Based on Bahamas's published requirements. Confirm the current form applies to your visa category before booking.
Book close to the planned submission date (certificate must be dated within 30 days). UK clinics already sell a Bahamas embassy visa medical, suggesting a UK GP letter is commonly accepted, but verify with the Department.
There is no official form we can reliably link for Bahamas. We draft the doctor's certificate to the format your Bahamas embassy or High Commission in London, or your sponsor, specifies. If they give you a blank form, bring it and we complete it.
