A Brunei visa medical generally involves the following, based on Brunei's current requirements as we understand them today.

• Examination: Full history plus physical: vitals, skin, limbs, anaemia, jaundice, cardio, resp, GI, neuro, GU

• Bloods: HIV, HBsAg, Hepatitis C, VDRL/TPHA (syphilis), malaria parasite screen. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

• Chest X-ray: For TB screening. Referred to our imaging partner; additional charge.

• Other tests: Urinalysis with drug screen, pregnancy test where applicable; stool for food handlers; sputum AFB, ECG as indicated

• Vaccinations: Typhoid/paratyphoid, tetanus and Hepatitis B (per form)

• The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

• Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Brunei embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Brunei requires is yours to do.

• Part of this process may need to be completed in the destination country; we complete the UK part.

• MoH allows the exam in the home country before arrival (favourable), but it is not confirmed an independent UK GP clinic qualifies without being on the approved list. Downloadable form is an employer copy of the MoH template; confirm against MoH's own library.

Confirm with Brunei MoH ([email protected]) or the employer that the examining clinic is on Brunei's 'Approved Overseas Health Facilities' list before booking; the certificate must come from a listed facility.

There is no official form we can reliably link for Brunei. We draft the doctor's certificate to the format your Brunei embassy or High Commission in London, or your sponsor, specifies. If they give you a blank form, bring it and we complete it.
