A Dominica visa medical generally involves the following. This reflects Dominica's current requirements as far as we know today.

• Examination: Full systems physical exam (skin, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive/abdomen, nervous system/sense organs, urogenital incl. urinalysis, MSK, endocrine incl. thyroid, other) plus extensive history and height/weight

• Bloods: Routine blood and urine test results required for all applicants (valid 3 months), in addition to the HIV test. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

• Other tests: Original results required: (i) HIV test for all over 12, (ii) routine blood and urine, (iii) immunisation record against diphtheria, tetanus and hepatitis

• Vaccinations: Original immunisation record against diphtheria, tetanus and hepatitis must be enclosed (documentation requirement, not necessarily new vaccinations)

• The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

• Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Dominica embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Dominica requires is yours to do.

Bring passport/photo ID. The most involved of the CBI set: full systems exam, a blood draw for routine bloods plus HIV, a urine sample, and evidence of prior immunisation against diphtheria, tetanus and hepatitis (bring records; if unavailable, discuss vaccinating and documenting). All results must stay within the 3-month window through to submission.
