A Guyana visa medical generally involves the following, based on Guyana's current requirements as we understand them today.

• Examination: Not specified by the portal or the MOFA form - referred to generically as a 'Medical Report' uploaded as a scanned PDF/JPEG alongside police clearance

• Vaccinations: Yellow fever for entry from at-risk countries; the UK is not on that list, so it does not affect UK-based applicants

• The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

• Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Guyana embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Guyana requires is yours to do.

• No source states the report must come from a Guyana-registered or panel doctor; the absence of any such stipulation suggests a UK letter is acceptable, but confirm with Guyana ISS or the High Commission.

Upload a scanned medical report / certificate of good health with the online application at eservices.iss.gov.gy. A UK GP letter on headed paper confirming general fitness and absence of serious communicable disease, dated and signed with GMC number, should be fit for purpose.
