East & Southern Africa

  • A doctor every time
  • Today, every day.

What's involved

A Namibia visa medical generally involves the following, based on Namibia's current requirements as we understand them today.

  • Examination: A medical report (form 3-1/0003) and a radiological report (form 3-1/0004), both required, mirroring the South African system

  • Bloods: Not located in the form content. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

  • Chest X-ray: For TB screening. Referred to our imaging partner; additional charge.

  • Other tests: Radiological report (form 3-1/0004)

  • Vaccinations: Not part of the requirement; yellow fever only if arriving from a risk country. We do not provide yellow fever vaccination; please arrange it separately.

  • The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

Good to know

  • Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Namibia embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Namibia requires is yours to do.

  • Part of this process may need to be completed in the destination country; we complete the UK part.

  • Requirement and form numbers confirmed on the official MHAISS site; form content and UK-completion acceptance not verified.

The official form

There is no official form we can reliably link for Namibia. We draft the doctor's certificate to the format your Namibia embassy or High Commission in London, or your sponsor, specifies. If they give you a blank form, bring it and we complete it.
