A doctor-issued medical report for your Oman visa, completed by a registered GP. It is a 30-minute appointment at £180. Any tests your destination requires are arranged at your consultation.
Gulf / GCC
A Oman visa medical may involve the following, based on what we have seen. This is not fully confirmed.
Examination: Physical exam, blood pressure, height/weight, vision
Bloods: HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis B and C. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.
Chest X-ray: For TB screening. Referred to our imaging partner; additional charge.
Other tests: Urinalysis, pregnancy test where applicable
Vaccinations: Yellow fever proof only if arriving from a WHO-designated risk country. We do not provide yellow fever vaccination; please arrange it separately.
The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.
Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Oman embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Oman requires is yours to do.
Part of this process may need to be completed in the destination country; we complete the UK part.
Weakest-verified of the five GCC states. UK clinics advertise an 'Oman Visa Medical' but no official Oman/embassy source confirms a UK pre-departure medical is a mandatory input to the standard employment visa; it may only be requested by specific sponsors. Do not position Oman as equivalent to Bahrain/Kuwait/Saudi until confirmed.
| When it's needed | Employment visa, family residence visa and other long-term stay/residence permits; not required for standard tourist eVisas |
| Examination | Physical exam, blood pressure, height/weight, vision |
| Bloods | HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis B and C |
| Chest X-ray | Yes (TB) |
| Vaccinations | Yellow fever proof only if arriving from a WHO-designated risk country |
| How long it's valid | Official post-arrival Medical Fitness Certificate valid 30 days from issuance; validity of any UK pre-departure medical unconfirmed |
| Turnaround | Official post-arrival process ~5 days; UK pre-departure turnaround unconfirmed |
| Official form | Unverified. No standard Omani consular pre-departure medical form located; the official post-arrival step uses Oman MoH online 'Medical Fitness Examination' self-registration |
Based on Oman's published requirements. Confirm the current form applies to your visa category before booking.
Confirm with the sponsor/employer or Royal Oman Police exactly what pre-departure documentation is required before booking, since Oman's government Medical Fitness Certificate for the Resident Card is completed in Oman after arrival (30 to 40 Omani Rial), not by a UK doctor beforehand.
There is no official form we can reliably link for Oman. We draft the doctor's certificate to the format your Oman embassy or High Commission in London, or your sponsor, specifies. If they give you a blank form, bring it and we complete it.
