A Spain visa medical generally involves the following, based on Spain's current requirements as we understand them today.

• Examination: Certificate of good health stating the applicant does not suffer from any disease with serious public-health implications under the International Health Regulations (2005); a generic 'in good health' letter is NOT accepted

• Bloods: Not a defined panel; general disease-free attestation. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

• The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

• Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Spain embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Spain requires is yours to do.

• One secondary source claimed the doctor must be 'registered with the FCDO', which is dubious (FCDO apostilles documents, it does not register doctors); confirm with the Spanish Consulate London. Downloadable PDF is on the BLS outsourcing partner site; cross-check against the London consulate template.

Use the exact IHR 2005 wording (not a generic good-health letter), on letterhead, wet-ink signed and stamped, then apostilled via the FCDO and translated into Spanish or produced bilingually. Confirm current consulate wording.
