A doctor-issued medical report for your Thailand visa, completed by a registered GP. It is a 15-minute appointment at £120. Any tests your destination requires are arranged at your consultation. This covers Thai retirement visas (O-A and O-X) only; it is not a general Thai work-visa medical.

What's involved

A Thailand visa medical generally involves the following. This reflects Thailand's current requirements as far as we know today.

  • Examination: Doctor's clinical declaration confirming absence of specified prohibited conditions

  • Bloods: Not mandated by the form; left to doctor's judgement. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

  • Chest X-ray: For TB screening. Referred to our imaging partner; additional charge.

  • The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

  • Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Thailand embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Thailand requires is yours to do.

  • This service is for the O-A and O-X retirement visas only. We do not provide a general Thai work-visa medical.

  • Applies to the O-A/O-X route processed abroad. Work-permit medicals done after arrival may differ.

What to bring

Bring passport. Certificate must show no leprosy, TB, elephantiasis, drug addiction or third-stage syphilis, carry an official GP stamp and address, dated within 3 months.
