In brief…
Delmosart is a prolonged-release methylphenidate tablet, and it is the one we dispense. It uses the same osmotic-release system as the originator brand, delivering medication steadily through the day from a single morning dose. The tablet has a 22:78 immediate-to-extended release split: 22 per cent releases straight away for a fast onset and 78 per cent releases gradually over 10 to 12 hours, so one tablet covers early morning through to early evening. Modified-release methylphenidate is prescribed and dispensed by brand, so your prescription and your box will both say Delmosart.

Driving & machinery
May affect ability to drive. Dizziness, drowsiness, and visual disturbances have been reported. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.
Age restriction
Methylphenidate/lisdexamfetamine: children 6 and over, and adults. Atomoxetine: children 6 and over, and adults. Guanfacine: children 6-17 (MR formulation). All must be initiated by a specialist in ADHD.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
