Fezolinetant (brand Veoza) is a non-hormonal tablet that calms the brain pathway driving hot flushes and night sweats. It is taken once a day and does not affect oestrogen, so it is an option when HRT is unsuitable, for example after some cancers or a blood clot. It needs liver function blood tests before and during treatment.
