Athlete's foot and candidal intertrigo (sweat rash in skin folds) where the skin is inflamed.

Miconazole kills the fungus and some bacteria, and hydrocortisone calms the redness and itch.

Adults with an inflamed fungal skin infection. Not for use on the face without a prescriber's advice, or on broken skin, cold sores or acne.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or on the face, eyes, broken skin, cold sores, acne or rosacea.

Tell us if you take warfarin: miconazole can be absorbed and increase its effect.

Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Short use on small areas is usually acceptable.

Apply to the affected skin twice a day, for no longer than 7 days. If the rash has not gone after 7 days, carry on with a plain antifungal cream such as clotrimazole. Wash your hands after use.
