What you need to know
Papulopustular rosacea and erythematous (red) rosacea.
The exact mechanism in rosacea isn’t fully understood, but topical metronidazole has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that reduce the inflammation and redness of rosacea. It may also affect the skin microbiome.
Adults with rosacea. Applied twice daily. Well-tolerated. Can be used long-term as maintenance. No interaction with alcohol (unlike oral metronidazole - topical absorption is minimal).
Order online and we review your request. A prescriber checks your consultation form for clinical appropriateness and contacts you if anything else is needed. Once approved, your medication is dispensed and delivered to your door.
