In brief…
Prochlorperazine (Stemetil, Buccastem) is a phenothiazine anti-emetic particularly effective for vertigo, labyrinthitis and motion sickness as well as general nausea. The buccal tablet (Buccastem M, 3mg) dissolves between the upper lip and gum and is available over the counter - useful when you can’t keep tablets down.

Driving & machinery
Metoclopramide, cyclizine, prochlorperazine: may cause drowsiness. Do not drive if affected. Ondansetron: unlikely to affect driving.
Age restriction
Metoclopramide: adults and young people over 15 (max 5 days). Domperidone: adults and adolescents over 35kg. Ondansetron: from age 6 months. Cyclizine: from age 6.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
