Olopatadine blocks histamine in the eye and stops mast cells releasing more, easing itch within minutes.

Adults with itchy, watery eyes from allergy. See a doctor instead if your eye is painful, your vision is affected, or only one eye is red with a sticky discharge.

One drop into each affected eye twice a day, 8 hours apart, for up to 4 months. Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before putting them back. Your vision may blur briefly after the drops.
