Very common: nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting (usually most pronounced during dose escalation and improve with time). Common: abdominal pain, dyspepsia, bloating, fatigue, dizziness, headache. Uncommon: gallstones, pancreatitis (stop treatment and seek medical help if you experience severe persistent abdominal pain). Injection site reactions.

Do not use if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use with caution in pancreatitis history, severe gastrointestinal disease, diabetic retinopathy.

Delays gastric emptying - may affect absorption of oral medications. Insulin and sulfonylureas: increased risk of hypoglycaemia (dose reduction may be needed). Oral contraceptives: may have reduced absorption - consider additional precautions.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Discontinue at least 2 months before planned conception (GLP-1 agonists). Ensure effective contraception during treatment.
